Organic Cotton T-Shirt Collab Men
For our new print T-shirts, we have started a collaboration with the well-known St.Gallen textile designer Claudia Caviezel. Inspired by nature and outdoor sports, Claudia has designed new prints with bold colours and shapes for us.
The T-shirts are made of 100% organic cotton and are knitted, dyed, sewn and then printed with Claudia's prints in Switzerland. The printing process we have chosen is high-quality screen printing with environmentally friendly inks.
Please note: The pictures shown are a rendering. The colours may differ slightly in the original.

Designed in St.Gallen
Swiss Creativity for Swiss Made T-Shirts
Claudia Caviezel is one of the best-known textile designers in Switzerland. Her designs are strongly influenced by nature and colours, and they convey Claudia Caviezel's typical consistency and spontaneity. Claudia Caviezel prefers to work analogue and in close exchange with the craftsmen who realize her designs. A perfect match for ROTAUF!
Inspired by mountains and rocks, Claudia has designed a completely new, fresh look for an outdoor shirt for ROTAUF. Claudia describes the process of creating the prints as follows:
"With the squeegee I worked with two dynamic, spontaneous moves or swings - as a reference to climbing or bouldering. From my point of view, this radical, reduced approach also fits perfectly with ROTAUF. It's two moves, done. There's nothing artificial or tinkered with."
Claudia has received various awards for her work, including the Swiss Grand Prix Design in 2016 and the Federal Prize for Design in 2010.
Knitted in Ermatingen
Pleasant organic cotton fabric from Switzerland
At Aldo Nägeli AG in Ermatingen, organic cotton yarn from Remei is processed.
Aldo Nägeli AG was founded over 100 years ago and is still owned by the 4th generation of the family. At the best of times, almost 200 employees were employed on 45 machines. Today it is still a fraction of that number. By placing an order with Aldo Nägeli AG, we are helping to keep these jobs and the many years of know-how in Switzerland.
It takes several weeks on the futuristic-looking circular knitting machines until millions of meters of yarn are knitted into billions of stitches and the fabric is produced.
Dyed in Strengelbach
Without dangerous chemicals
The fabric is dyed at the historic company Johann Müller AG in Strengelbach (AG). In 1854, the dye works was founded in a farmhouse in Strengelbach. In the following years the business grew. 1899 the company switches from hand dyeing to industrial dyeing and the first steam engine is purchased.
In the last years Johann Müller has specialised more and more in sustainable dyeing. Since 1995 Johann Müller has been able to dye according to the Cradle To Cradle (C2C) guidelines. Materials dyed in this way contain no hazardous chemicals and can be composted without any problems.
In 2002 the company switched to completely renewable energy sources for energy production. 2009 the GOTS certification follows.
Our fabrics are also dyed and finished at Johann Müller according to C2C and GOTS standards. Thus, only harmless chemicals are used in the dyeing process and our products can be composted at the end of their life cycle - the cycle closes.
Sewed in Rothenthurm
Traditional Swiss craftsmanship for modern products
At Schuler Manufaktur 6418, our organic cotton products are sewn by the skilled hands of the company's employees. The number stands for the postal code of Rothenthurm, which is a commitment to the production location and the origin of the sewing workshop. Schuler Manufaktur 6418 was founded in 1942 as a tailor shop in Rothenthurm. The company has grown steadily since then and specialized in the manufacture of uniforms as early as the 1950s.
Today, around 30 seamstresses work in a residential building with an annex on the main street in Rothenthurm. They normally design and produce suits and uniforms for clubs and private individuals. Well-known musicians also readily rely on the know-how of Schuler Manufaktur 6418 for their stage outfits. We are very proud to cooperate with this traditional company from Central Switzerland for the production of our Patgific products.
