Detox Guideline - MRSL
Manufacturing Restricted Substances List
The MRSL helps us communicate with our production partners to prevent dangerous chemicals from entering our fabrics in the first place.
PURPOSE OF THE MRSL
- Elimination of hazardous chemicals : MRSL Detox to Zero defines a list of hazardous chemicals that must be either completely avoided or minimized in textile production. The goal is to prevent the release of hazardous substances into the environment.
- Promoting sustainable production processes : Companies are encouraged to transform their production processes to make them more environmentally friendly. This includes avoiding certain chemicals and implementing technologies that reduce the ecological footprint of production.
- Transparency and Monitoring : MRSL Detox to Zero provides a framework for companies to monitor and communicate their progress toward eliminating hazardous chemicals. This includes regularly reviewing compliance with established standards and publishing the results.
- Responsibility along the supply chain : The list aims to promote responsibility for environmentally conscious practices along the entire supply chain, from suppliers of raw materials to final producers.
Overall, the MRSL Detox to Zero was developed to encourage the textile industry to significantly reduce its environmental impact and work towards pollutant-free production in the long term.

Wastewater test
Since it's not possible for us to require wastewater testing from all production sites, we reduce the risk of contamination from environmental toxins by carefully selecting the land for dyeing and finishing. Thanks to Switzerland's strict water protection laws, the contamination of our rivers and lakes is prevented. Environmental laws have also been tightened in countries like Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan in recent years. We are constantly striving to obtain the most up-to-date wastewater tests. This serves to raise our producers' awareness of environmental protection and offer our customers the highest level of safety.
Material test
For us as a small company, it is very costly to have all fabrics tested individually. We make every effort to test as many materials as possible for environmental toxins. To ensure the highest standards, we work closely with our production partners. We communicate our strict requirements early on in product development to ensure they are met from the outset. To optimize testing costs, we bundle our tests and test multiple production fabrics simultaneously. This approach helps us keep costs under control while guaranteeing the quality and safety of our products. Through this close collaboration and careful planning, we can assure our customers that our textiles meet the highest environmental and quality standards.
